If you're looking to buy a puppy:
Listed below are the names and telephone numbers of Committee members of The British Chihuahua Club who are coordinating with members of the Club who have puppies for sale.  Please ring to see if there are puppies in your area.

Please be considerate and only phone after 9am and before 7pm

If you're thinking of adopting a Rescue dog:
If you would like to offer a new home to a dog that needs one, you should write to Pam Bungard, the Secretary of the British Chihuahua Club Rescue Association (BCCRA), at the address below, enclosing a stamped self-addressed envelope and requesting a 'Rescue Adoption Registration Form'.  To save time you can click here to download a copy.  The completed form should be returned to this address:

Please bear in mind that adopting a rescue dog is not a cheap way of acquiring a desirable Chihuahua!  Many of the dogs we rescue are getting on in years or may have health or behavioural problems.  They all need a safe home with someone to love them, and can be very rewarding to take on, but if you are looking for an adorable baby puppy or a potential show winner then sadly, you should probably be looking elsewhere.  These are dogs for people whose heart goes out to a homeless Chihuahua.

Wherever possible, please write to the Secretary at the above address (enclosing a stamped self-addressed envelope if you need a reply), but if you really have to speak to someone by phone, calls can ONLY be taken between 9am and 5pm.  Outside those times, PLEASE respect the secretary's right to a private life!  Being Rescue Secretary is a difficult and demanding unpaid position taking a great deal of the volunteer's free time, and it is simply not possible to be available 24 hours a day!
