Secretary (Mrs P Bungard)

Hove, East Sussex

Please bear in mind that adopting a rescue dog is not a cheap way of acquiring a desirable Chihuahua!  Many of the dogs we rescue are getting on in years or may have health or behavioural problems.  They all need a safe home with someone to love them, and can be very rewarding to take on, but if you are looking for an adorable baby puppy or a potential show winner then sadly, you should probably be looking elsewhere.  These are dogs for people whose heart goes out to a homeless Chihuahua.

Contacting the Rescue Secretary by phone:
The role of Rescue Secretary is a difficult and demanding unpaid position taking a great deal of the volunteer's free time, and has to be fitted in around a normal family life.  You may feel the Secretary could easily spare a few minutes for a quick chat on the phone, but unfortunately there are so many people who think the same that the constant calls become impossible to cope with.  So if you need to contact CHihuahua Rescue for any reason, unless it's genuinely unavoidable, please write to the Secretary at the above address (enclosing a stamped self-addressed envelope if you need a reply).

If you really have to speak to the Secretary by phone, calls will ONLY be answered between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday.  Outside those times, PLEASE respect the secretary's right to a private life!

Rescue Secretary Mrs Pam Bungard 01273 413501
9am to 4pm Monday to Friday ONLY please
